The National Institute of Mental Health announces the Nineteenth Conference on Mental Health Services Research: “MHSR 2007: Enhancing the Impact of Mental Health Services Research.”  The conference will be held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C., on July 23–24, 2007.

This year’s conference is specifically designed to present and discuss research studies that represent the diversity of the research programs within the Services Research and Clinical Epidemiology Branch (SRCEB) of DSIR, NIMH, and that have the potential to contribute to the development of this portfolio toward greater practice and policy relevance.  The goal of the conference is to stimulate interest and innovation in mental health services research in order to foster research projects that can be supported by NIMH.  MHSR 2007 will include paper, panel, and poster presentations organized around the research programs of SRCEB, and that have relevance to mental health services, practice, and policy.

A draft agenda for the conference will be available in June.
