If you plan to attend the conference, your registration must be received and confirmed by Friday, June 5, 2009. Please keep in mind that you are not officially registered until you receive a formal confirmation of your registration. Overnight accommodations will be provided only for approved participants that will be traveling 50 miles or more from their work to the conference. Whether registering online or by manual submission of the registration form, please indicate your arrival and departure dates as well as sleeping room preference.

Funding
The NHSC will cover the cost of travel to and from the conference, lodging, meals, and incidental expenses for all Ambassadors with confirmed registrations who are located 50 miles or more from the conference site.
Local Travel—If you are located within 50 miles of the conference site, the NHSC will cover the cost of ground transportation (parking, use of privately owned vehicle costs at 55 cents per mile, and tolls) only. You are responsible for all other expenses related to your travel to and from the conference, as well as for meals not included in the conference schedule. No lodging will be paid for local participants traveling 50 miles or less to the conference.

Please note that communication regarding registration updates, confirmations, travel, lodging, and other related information will be transmitted to you using the e-mail address you have provided. Our initial contact will occur via e-mail; however, if we do not receive acknowledgement regarding your participation at the conference via e-mail, we will follow up with a telephone call, fax, and finally through the United States Postal Service.
