The Center of Excellence in Chromosome Biology will sponsor a symposium on "Genome-wide chromatin structure and function" on October 30-31, 2008 at the Natcher Auditorium on the Bethesda campus of NIH. The meeting will feature talks given by leaders in the field of chromosome biology discussing chromatin and transcription, epigenetics, cellular organization of gene expression, DNA damage and repair, and genomic instability.
