Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI)

From BWI, take Route 95 south toward Washington, D.C. Join the Capital Beltway (I-495) traveling west toward Bethesda. Leave Route 495 at Exit 19 (Route 355/Wisconsin Avenue/Rockville Pike) and continue south for about 2 miles. The National Naval Medical Center will be on the left. Turn right at South Drive at the Metro Center. Turn left onto Center Drive; follow the road around to the Natcher Conference Center on your left. Visitors may only enter NIH from Wisconsin Avenue/Rockville Pike at the South Drive entrance.

Dulles International Airport

Take the Dulles Access Road to the Capital Beltway (I-495) at entrance 12, traveling north toward Bethesda/Baltimore. Leave Route 495 at Exit 19 (Route 355/Wisconsin Avenue/Rockville Pike) and continue south for about 2 miles. The National Naval Medical Center will be on the left. Turn right at South Drive at the Metro Center. Turn left onto Center Drive; follow the road around to the Natcher Conference Center on your left. Visitors may only enter NIH from Wisconsin Avenue/Rockville Pike at the South Drive entrance.

Reagan Washington National Airport

You can take the Metro from Regan Washington National Airport (Yellow or Blue Line) to the Medical Center stop (on the Red Line). Take the George Washington Memorial Parkway to the Capital Beltway (I-495) at entrance 14, proceeding north toward Bethesda/Baltimore. Leave Route 495 at Exit 19 (Route 355/Wisconsin Avenue/Rockville Pike), traveling south for about 2 miles. The National Naval Medical Center will be on the left.
