Charge to Participants, Speakers, and Session Chairs

Workshop Objectives:

  1. Evaluate the state of the science associated with each of the paradoxes in the context of early stage carcinogenesis and its relation to cancer prevention and early detection.
  2. Obtain recommendations from leading scientists in the field to help drive molecular prevention research as envisioned by NCI and DCP leadership.
Workshop Format:

Individual presentations will be approximately 20 minutes in length. There will be time for questions and discussion at the end of each session. The session chair will moderate each discussion.

Session Chairs:

Session Chairs are requested to introduce the speakers, moderate the discussion, and give a brief summary with recommendations at the roundtable.

Post Workshop:

All speakers may be asked to assist in discussing specific points. Specific recommendations by the speakers would be greatly appreciated.
