Workshop Overview
The HHS Public Health Emergency Medical Countermeasures Enterprise (PHEMCE) Stakeholders Workshop 2008 and BARDA Industry Day will bring together public and private sector stakeholders for a dynamic dialogue on the current state of medical countermeasure preparedness, PHEMCE initiatives in the past year, and plans for moving forward to enhance national capabilities to respond to a public health emergency.

New This Year: BARDA Industry Day and Evening Poster Sessions
The BARDA Industry Day and evening poster sessions will provide unique opportunities for biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry representatives to showcase their latest breakthroughs in vaccines, therapeutics, diagnostics, and platform technologies targeting Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and naturally emerging threats, including pandemic influenza. Abstracts for both oral and poster presentations are being accepted through July 18, 2008.

The PHEMCE strives to attract a diverse set of perspectives from our stakeholder communities. This year we expect approximately 500 participants representing:
