RECRUITERS INTRODUCTIONThank you for participating in this year’s National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Annual Scholar Orientation Conference and Recruitment Fairs. The Recruitment Fairs are designed to offer the NHSC Sites and affiliates an opportunity to meet and identify potential Scholar matches to their organizations.
We anticipate that most of the 200-plus NHSC Scholars who will become available for service in 2009 will attend this conference. These Scholars include 80 family physicians, 13 general pediatricians, 23 general internists, 44 dentists, 13 obstetrician/gynecologists, 11 family nurse practitioners, 11 physician assistants, 2 certified nurse-midwives, and 10 psychiatrists.
The agenda includes two Recruitment Fairs at which each organization will have an opportunity to formally meet and talk with NHSC Scholars. Below you will find details to help you prepare for the upcoming events.
