Upon receipt of your completed and confirmed registration form, BLS will reserve a guestroom in your name at the conference hotel. Recruiters are responsible for all charges.  Therefore, a credit card is required upon registration.

Conference registration begins at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, and is followed by the opening and partnering and collaboration sessions.  Sites should begin setup at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 1, 2008, and begin teardown after the second Recruitment Fair, which ends at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2008. Additional rooms are available for Thursday- and Saturday-night stays if needed.

FUNDING

One representative from the following entities interested in meeting and interviewing NHSC Scholars and able to actively participate in the two Recruitment Fairs may attend the conference at no charge:

• NHSC-approved Sites with clinician vacancies that meet the 2009 discipline-specific Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) score
  
  
• Primary Care Offices (PCOs) representing NHSC-approved Sites that have clinician vacancies and meet the 2009 discipline-specific HPSA score
  
  
• Primary Care Associations (PCAs) representing NHSC-approved Sites that have clinician vacancies and meet the 2009 discipline-specific HPSA score
  
  
• Indian Health Service (IHS), Bureau of Prisons (BOP), and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Sites that have clinician vacancies and meet the 2009 discipline-specific HPSA score

Registration fees for additional representatives will be determined. Please revisit this Web site at a later date to obtain this information.

LODGING COSTS

The lodging rate at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel is $109.76 ($98 + 12% tax) for single/double occupancy. The cutoff date for lodging reservations is July 7, 2008. LODGING CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact BLS immediately to avoid a direct credit card charge of 1 night’s lodging. Cancellations after Monday, July 28, should be made directly with the hotel. If you cancel your reservation, obtain a cancellation number for your records. (You must provide a cancellation number for any disputed charges.)
